Form Energy has landed Google and Crusoe as customers. Now, it has raised $750 million to expand manufacturing to deliver its massive, 100-hour batteries.
Form Energy and Redwood Materials both received orders from the data center developer.
The deal paves the way for Form Energy to raise a new funding round before potentially going public next year.
Form Energy’s iron-air batteries will store wind and solar power to keep the data center running 24/7.
